Pulled Sugar Corsage

I have always been finding tutors and teachers for such art but sad to say none in Malaysia. After much of research and reading and buying sugar Artistry books, I decided to try it out myself. This is my first project and I find it so beautiful when it's on a cake. I seriously don't know what to say... Why don't you guys whom are reading this page share with me your thoughts.

My colleagues commented that I have succeeded in mastering the "Motherly Hand" which they saw in a TVB series known as Gateaux Affair.

When it's on a cake:

Some of you might wonder how this cake came about... Every cake in this shop has a memory to me... The purpose of this cake is for a friend of mine whom is going through a lot of challenges now and the dark background shows the challenges which he is having and the greens are his journey... The cake is meant to let him know that he resembles the rose and the loops behind are my support and aid to him on his journey of success.. The path might be bumpy and difficult now but the end success will be like the blooming rose entangled with loops of joy.

Pulled sugar was challenging and I finally know why no one is teaching this art in Malaysia... When going through the process I did engaged with 2 blisters because you have to shape when the sugar is hot (180 degrees celcius) with your barehands, I nearly wanted to give up but when my objective is that this will be an encouragement and moral support to CS, I continued. Upon completion, these natural gold shining caught my attention and a smile puts me up... When I noticed the sweating of the sugar sue to our humid climate, I immediately snap the pic and hope by tomorrow when the cake is being delivered he will still get to see the deco. If not there is still this pic to encourage him. Thanks be to technology.
