Introduction
The birth of Black Forest Tavern [Formerly known as Guten Torte (Best Cakes in German)] began on January 2006. The name black frorest was selected after I baked the original black forest cake for my friends' birthdays. They encouraged me to then make it a small business. Guten Torte (commenced in July 2004) was difficult to pronounce therefore I have replaced with Black Forest. From baking black forest I introduced to my other friends my most popular vegetarian cheesecakes. Chilled, eggless and flourless cheesecake.
Soon word of mouth spread and orders began it's journey. I would like to thank all my foster brothers, friends, and clients for the support rendered to Black Forest. From gateaux (layered fresh cream cakes), my selections increased to chilled and baked cheesecake and mousse cakes. Butter icing cakes and vegetarian cakes were also introduced. My specialities are in cakes and chocolate. For the alcohol lovers, please do not hessitate to venture into the alcohol content cakes and sinful truffles.
Today, we provide more home baked and mouth watering wedding cakes in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Come to us and speak to us and we shall extract your fantasy to reality. There are also custom made cakes for other occassions like birthday, anniversary, hantaran, engagement and wedding. Wedding is a once in a lifetime occassion and I believe in bringing a couple's dream to reality. Your cakes and favors will be catered according to your dreams.
